The power in your story!

Those who know or have been in one of the conferences I have organized will say that I do share a bit of my story.

One of the reasons why I do share what I call my story or what other people say my experience or testimony is because I have realised there is power connected to it.

How many times have you felt like you were the only one going through a certain situation? Like no one will ever understand you? What if I tell you out there, there is surely someone who will understand you. Someone that has been through what you are currently going through. But, both of you are doing the same thing, which is staying silent!

Silence makes a great story or testimony become unknown.

I am a strong believer that once you receive victory and it is settled, you have to share it to encourage others!

You share only when it is settled, not during the process or when you just lack something to talk about!

When you are too quick to share as if you have already received the victory, but you know deep down you are still dealing with certain things, let me tell you there is no supernatural power connected to your story!

I share my story not to rant or for people to pity me, but to spread the power of God, because I believe when I talk about how God healed me and restored me from some trauma, just by talking, God is releasing a supernatural healing and restoring power to those who are listening!

When I was young, I loved listening to stories. Whether they were about princesses or fantasy, for one reason: because back in the day, at the end of each story, they would tell us the moral of the story.

And this is the other reason why I am not afraid or ashamed to share my story: because of the moral, the lesson. I talk about my hurt but also my mistakes because they are also a part of my journey here on earth, and thanks to those mistakes, I grew!

Today, I encourage you to share your story unashamed, because not only are you encouraging others, but you are also spreading God's healing and restoring power.

But don't make your life and personality only based on your past.
